Apply Liquid fertilizers for newly transplanted coconut palms with nutrients while they establish root systems.
Transplanted coconut palms take a year or longer to grow roots into the surrounding soil, and require frequent fertilizer applications during this time, which they absorb through their leaves.
Because coconut palm leaves repel water, a wetting agent is used to prevent the fertilizer from dripping off.
Dilute the liquid fertilizer that contains micronutrients at a rate of 1 tablespoon per gallon of water
Spray coconut palm leaves monthly, just before darkness on a dry evening, or dilute and apply the product according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
