Harvesting Banana

Harvesting of Dwarf varieties banana is done 12 to 15 months after planting
Tall varieties can be harvested after 15 to 18 months after planting
Signs of maturity of banana fruits are, fruit becomes plump and change in color of fruits from deep green to light green.
Then the mother plant dies. But around the base of it are many suckers or pups, little baby plants.
