- Okra seeds should be soaked in water for at least 12-18 hours allowing them to absorb the moisture before being sowed.
- Okra can grow in different types of soil but it must be fertilized well.
- Sow the seeds 1/2 inch deep in light soil and 1 inch deep in heavy soil;
- Spacing is 3 inches apart in rows 3 feet apart.
- After around 12 days, the seed will begin to germinate.
- When the seeds you planted have sprouted and grown to 3 inches high, thin out the smaller seedlings and leave the strongest ones standing
