- Onions are very prone to foliar diseases and its bulf rots. It is because of a bacterial infection and it reduces the bulb quality.
- Other fungal diseases are neck rot, mildew and leaf rot
- Avoid planting infected sets;
- Plant onions in well-draining areas and do not overcrowd plants;
- Destroy all infected crop debris;
- Apply organic pesticide such as Neem oil, soap liquid and baking soda in 1 liter of water and apply thoroughly to waxy leaves
